Bad Economy, Good Opportunity
Like many of us, the news can be super depressing these days, especially if you're like me and giving up everything to do something you believe in - like building your first ever online startup company. Well, the best advice right now for you out there is to process steps into small sizable chucks. This way you don't blow up the expenses and use up all your capital for an over-achieving website design. Keep it simple, humble, and work on building up your consumer base. These days the risk is so limited because of all the amazing social networking technology. You don't have to spend anything (but your time) in developing a good marketing campaign in order to reach hundreds of thousands of customers. No fancy PR reps either. You can do it so simply and so quickly with the incredible enabling features of the internet to reach out across the globe. I say tune off the radio and keep your mind focused at the goal... you will overcome this difficult and challenging part of your life, but its not going to happen over night, just a bit longer than that. The whole reason we decide to become entrepreneurs is because we're innovative, creative, and strategize. Keep those same things in mind, and you'll be certain to get people interested in the product/ service despite the declining market.
